Held every year in the months of July or August, this is a Sri Lankan identity that has attracted local and foreign tourists. A lot of different cultural elements can be seen in the Kandy Esala Perahera, which is held to honor Lord Sri Dalada and the four deities of Natha, Vishnu, Kataragama and Pattini.
